Purely my anecdotal evidence but It definitely seems a bit busier on the roads this week than last and more people out and about in shopping areas then there has been. (I'm dropping off ppe and supplies, not having a cruise around). Also seemed to be more police around yesterday and saw for the first time three or four lots in groups who looked like they were doing some stopping and asking people what they were doing.

I'm very grateful for having a job where I am still out and about every day. For people in cramped or overcrowded housing with no outside space it must be awful, perhaps they should be getting dispensation to sit in the parks.

The lockdown has been in place for 3 and a half weeks mate. Hardly immediate

The lockdown was enforced with immediate effect and people were expected to change their habits with immediate effect.

Again, 3 weeks in and i don't see many people breaking it. There's always gonna be some idiots but again, the point still stands. 3 and a half weeks to adapt to something that none of us have had to do in 30, 40, 50 years of our lives is an incredibly short amount of time.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a minority, the numbers are still significant enough for it to put people’s lives at risk, such is the contagiousness of the virus.

So what’s your solution mate? It isn’t an easy change to make, but having sympathy with others in a crisis doesn’t stop people dying...

Any evidence that the amount of people out is significant enough? aside from the daily fail saying that everyones at the beach or the government trying to spin that they've had to enforce more measures because people aren't paying attention?

Whats my solution to what? Stopping a handful of people going out...i don't think there is one, whats yours?

I think that many people are genuinely frightened Maxy of picking up this god awful disease.
15,000 people dead in 6 weeks in the UK alone, and to see patients struggling to breathe in hospital scares me to be honest.
The problem that the government may have is getting people to go out after lockdown is eased and carry on with their life as before ‘cos they’re scared.

Actually it does matter. Only need 80% of people to follow it for it to be effective
