Re: Farage on Marr
His fans will love it. Very Trump-like performance.
He’s a magnet for the brexiteers and gammons, as can be seen on the soaring Brexit Party poll ratings. To me he’s just a populist empty vessel - and bloody dangerous - a posh lad who’s conned some he’s a man of the people who can stick it to the establishment.

Re: Farage on Marr
In a sane world, it was a car crash. But we don't live in a sane world. Edited versions will be being shared all day showing him 'owning' the liberal, biased BBC.
No one who is dumb enough to vote for the Brexit party cares about a manifesto or what he actually believes, he proved that last time by getting people to vote Leave in the first place. He's promised something that doesn't exist then, when it hasn't materialised, he's convinced them to blame other people. He's untouchable and the mainstream media, by constantly giving him airtime - genuinely admired him keeping a straight face when he claimed they were biased against him - are playing right into his grubby hands.

A vote for either of these two political parties is a vote of confidence in the two ''Numpties'' who happen to be their ( in the case of Comrade Corbyn ) ''Dear Leader'' !!Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 5:41 pmLast time I looked, they weren’t standing in the Euro elections.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 5:33 pmOther ''Numpties'' will vote for May and Corbyn !!Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 5:24 pm Anyone seen it? Re: Farage on Marr
BBC is constantly biased towards the remain camp. It shows in their news reports e.g the often quoted ''In spite of Brexit'' said when there is good news regarding unemployment figures, good trade figures etc. It also shows in shows such as question time, for instance last Thursday five on the panel, of whom three were remainers, Farage for leave, plus a businessman who votes for the Labour party.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 5:42 pm In a same world, it was a car crash. Funny how both lefties & right-wingers moan on & on about the Beeb being biased for the other side...
To me, they try to be impartial but being staffed by establishment Oxbridge types they end up just sticking to the establishment line.

Re: Farage on Marr
On question time it has been calculated that the panel has been made up of 70% remainers. The guy who quoted these figures was the only one on the panel that night who voted to leave.
I always feel that the BBC does have a biase. The problem is that they regularly take a small snippet of around 30 seconds of what somebody has said. Then spend 2 minutes or more giving an opinion on the subject. Clearly what they are saying is significantly more important than what was actually said.

Re: Farage on Marr
Presumably that’s because a majority, maybe somewhere around 70% of MPs, are remainders?Still's Carenae wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 6:56 pm On question time it has been calculated that the panel has been made up of 70% remainers. Imagine complaining that the beeb are biased against remain when a nobody like furrage has got an open invite onto the show.

Re: Farage on Marr
Vile man but don’t necessarily think he’s point was wrong. It’s always been like that. The press want to focus on character assassination instead of actually getting the the route of the issues or why people stand for what they stand for. Farage is a tw*t which means that he wouldn’t be anywhere if people didn’t agree with him. We should be worried about why they agree with him, not what he thinks of putin.

Re: Farage on Marr
When it comes to Question time panelists, there can be NO argument as to which side of the Brexit debate gets the most panelists, remain around 70% in most cases. Last week panelists were 3 remainers, one who could see both sides of the debate who was a labour voting business man and one pro leave Farage. Previous week, even more biassed towards remain, 4 remainers and one leaver !! How can this possibly be viewed as BBC being unbiased ? Same thing goes right to the top, House of Commons, from all accounts out of 650 MPs, 500 voted to remain in the 2016 referendum but the same House of Parliament voted overwhelmingly to honour the referendum result !!
On Sky TV ''The Pledge'' the panelists seems to be more like 50/50 or most debates including Brexit. BBC News biassed towards leave, no doubt at all.
In a way, its just like in some tin pot Dictatorship Countries where General elections take place then if the result does not favour the person in power, so the Leader of the Country chooses to ignore the result declares the election invalid and stays in power !! In 2016 the Uk voted in a referendum as to leave or stay in the EU, the Uk voted to leave the EU and those in charge have chosen not to honour the vote and the can has been kicked down the road !!

Marr normally gives those he interviews an easy time. He went after Farage in a big way. Clear BBC bias and am glad Farage called him out.

Re: Farage on Marr
Marr screams of being a biassed ''Lefty remainer''
He has had a good run, he is old hat and about time he was replaced. I remember when he was in recovery from his stroke, for a short period of time a young women, ( think she was from a bbc local radio station ? ) took over his slot, she was so good, sharp as a needle and gave those she interviewed a really hard time, she was excellent at the job, far better than Marr. So disappointed when he came back again. So unjust when a young woman who was so good at the job replaced in that way.

As always context is everything. This was the week in which Niggle felt secure and arrogant enough to come out as an Anti Semite whilst spending air time with a great big foil hat wearing islamophobic conspiracy crazy nutjob.
Well done to Marr for unmasking this vile piece of racist Nazi sh*t.
