More than 9 in 10 people who have died had an underlying health condition, yet we ALL have to stay under lockdown.
How do you know that you haven't got an underlying health condition then?
I certainly didn't know 18 Months ago; I considered myself extremely fit and healthy for my age; coupled with superb health and no previous problems or conditions. Suffice to say, out of the blue, I almost subsequently died on an operating table and fought for lfe in an ICU.

Secondly, the BBC has just modified this story. I saw it earlier today and whereas the "91% had other underlying health conditions" is unchanged, the earlier report also stated that over 80% of all deaths were still attributed to Coronanvirus as the primary cause of death. Why did they remove that last telling point?

Reading through the social care action plan, a load of guff and evasive language ('all staff offered a test' not mentioned you can only take up the offer if you own a car, 'we will move to all individuals being tested before admission' doesn't say when that move will happen by or that the result will be received before admission). There is a smattering of sensible stuff in there, but the badge is a particular insult. I have some somewhere from an event a year ago which I was too polite to decline but thought it was a f*cking daft idea then too.
In other pointless reporting news the local council's quality assurance team hope I'm doing well in this difficult time and want me to send some good news stories for them to share. Nobody has died yet today?

Feels unfair on healthy folk like myself. The longer this goes on, the more painful the recovery will be.
"Mum, mum. Can you show me what 'a lack of empathy' means."

I just have empathy with different people to you. Can you imagine if the tables were turned and this virus mainly affected young people? You think old folk would be in favour of a lockdown for months?
The more relevant guide at the moment to show as a real flattening or decrease is the number of new hospital cases, and infections. ICU cases and deaths falling will be about 7 days behind the fall in those two areas.
In saying that Another near 900 deaths is awful - heart goes out to all those families affected.

Still 4600 new infections in last 24 hours. Like the deaths, its not increasing but we need it to go down.
