Orient v Gillenham
Check this move and goal out from Cox. This has to be one of the best sides I’ve seen down the O’s. Great football and Cox finishes superbly, he was a great player for us.

Great team goal (21 passes i think) and a Dean Cox special to finish it off. Not sure but i think thats Andy Gilson on commentary, its probably been said before but he does sound like the great late Brian Moore.

Brilliant build-up and a sensational finish from Coxy.AckneyAwks wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 2:53 pm Great team goal (21 passes i think) and a Dean Cox special to finish it off. The Matty Lockwood Hat-trick comeback, when 3-0 down against the Gills was something special to remember too.
That said, none of this football lark beats 'make it a date, Friday at 8' though, does it.

As a side, we've just recorded a 45 min interview for Orient Hour Extra with Coxy and he doesn't hold back. Lifting the lid on the Italian regime and also discussing the good times. Dave Victor asks the questions and we should have this available to listen to tomorrow

No thanks Disoriented.
We will be talking to Peter Kitchen and Scott McGleish over the course of the next week, I guess if there's a particular question anyone would like answered from either of them we could ask it on your behalf.

I don't even know if I've ever met him. Now if you don't mind I've got to leave the desk to go and look after mother.

As you say NuneatonO's, nothing beats Make it a date Friday at Eight for my sporting memories.
Have had some great times following the O's over the years got closely involved with some of our past players which gave me a insight to things from the players prospective. Enjoying the interviews with former players keep up the good work Andy.

God, we were good that day . That's the level we have to try to get back to. We was there before so I can't see any reasons why we can't be there again.

Agreed, but the manager then and the manager now are at different levels of skills, man management and experience.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2020 10:10 am God, we were good that day .
