On “Songs of Praise” on Beeb 1 at 13.15 today. Described as a former Birmingham City footballer. I didn’t know he was now a preacher.

Can't be many clubs who have had two left wingers go into the church after their careers were over.

Did not know he was a preacher now. Seem to remember a load of girls chasing him when he was with us.
