Not to most people's taste but I love The Fall.
Despite having hundreds of members the lyrical and musical genius of Mark E Smith RIP ah has kept me entertained for decades..

My other nomination here is The Jam, who vied for my affections with The Clash. Not such a big fan of his solo stuff but the early albums are belters.

I've just switched my vote from the Barenaked Ladies (who, sadly, don't seem to have a chance) to the Sex Pistols - just for fun.
