I drank Corona when I was young.
From a bottle with a rubber bung,
Dialled an order straight down the phone
And round came the lorry with a crate of my own.
It was better than the stuff in the shop.
Didn’t fiddle with that old screw top.
While the other kids were finding theirs a flop,
We were swigging and gigging to that fizzy fruit pop. Yeah!
Corona sipping can get you skipping
Until you just don’t care.
I guess you’d like a drop of mine but we really mustn’t share!
Oh Lawdy Mama those rock and roll bands,
When Suzie rocked up with the fans
She kept her distance and wa-a-a-shed her ha-a-a-a-a-nds!

The years went by; now Corona’s Worldwide
I’m sitting here with Suzie – I’m at her bedside
Long nights crying, where’s the testing machine?
No ventilator, no protective screen.
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was a dose of Corona Rock.

We’ll be rocking and bopping straight into dry dock. Yeah!
Corona hopping – You can’t go shopping
