Has a dog that is exactly the same breed as mine ( really quite a rare breed ) . Thought you would all be deperate to know. Incidentally my dog loves going up and down the stairs too.

Well I can confirm that it is a Basset Griffon Vendeen. His name is Hounslow. Which is a good name for a hound. There are two varieties of this breed, the petit and grand. I used to own a petit but she passed away, I now own a young grand. Going by the above photo Hounslow looks to be a grand. But I looked at the guy's Facebook footage and he showed Hounslow acting as his " sherpa " and there he looked more like a petit. They are a lovely breed. The grands are much rarer.

Let me get this straight - the dog is called Everest?

Have the RSPCA been informed?

Come on, the geezer called his dog Houn(d)slow. They are in the hound section and mine has a very good nose. Her name is Filou . As in the yoghurts Petit Filous. So as mine is a Grand I called her Filou. Years ago I scratched my head about the word Filou and yoghurts- I knew it wasn't French for yoghurt. I looked it up & filou is a confidence trickster. But the word is used for rascals and scamps, so it is a pet's name too

Actually if you all get your facts right...ya bunch of divvies. You would see said geezer with a lovely doggie, was horrified at the stories that not only were the food banks not getting any donations, but greedy conspirators were stealing any donations. So he decided on his brave quest to scale the stairs of his very high house and get donations for food banks ( with the aid of his:brave, handsome, noble, sometimes fierce, trustworthy sherpa doggie ). If you worthless procrastinators had one grain of decency, you would be donating on the blokes Facebook page. Max is excused, as the possibility of donating money is likely to send a Scotsman in to a terminal apoplectic fit

If you like facts, here's one for you. A 2017 report showed that per capita, Scotland gives more to charities than any other UK country. Although I don't particularly like dogs, I give to a charity which rescues them from weirdo owners who like to dress them in human clothing. That geezer can expect a rap on his door soon
