Re: Labour Watch
So Starmer is going to be bashed down with the peedo stick? Glad we’ve resolved that one early doors.

Re: Labour Watch
Starmer has started well in my opinion. Quite right to hold the Government to account and question their actions, whilst at the same time offering to support the fight against the virus.
His biggest challenge will be within his own party as momentum and some Unions will kick a scream as he moves away from Corbynism and tries to end the run of four successive defeats of a party he’ll bent on having numpties as leaders.
He has a big job to do within his own party to repair the damage done over the past few years. How he deals with that will be a good indicator as to his chances of avoiding defeat numbers 5 and 6.

Re: Labour Watch
Starmer isnt for me, because he isnt a socialist.
His shadow cabinet will be full of right-wingers/Blairites you can bet. Im waiting to see how many ( if any) are left wingers, but I doubt I'll vote Labour again.
Before Corbyn became Labour leader, I didnt vote at all. He fired up my interest, but now the flame has been extinguished. Ill vote Green in future, or just not vote

And who started that ? The board intelligentsia aka Thor. He's become a caricature of a bigoted, ignoramus over the last months. I think he needs to sit himself down and plan how he wants to develop this alter ego. He's lost the plot.

This'll be the same J Savile that Thatcher made 4 attempts to give a knighthood to?Thor wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 7:34 pm Just been sent this.
"In 2009, the paedophile Jimmy Savile was interviewed under caution by police in Surrey and Sussex. Subsequently, the police referred 4 cases to the CPS alleging that Jimmy Savile had abused 3 girls under the age of 16.
The CPS, after receiving the files from the police, refused to prosecute Savile and dropped the case claiming ‘insufficient evidence’’.
After Savile’s death, and despite multiple attempts of high level cover ups, we now know that he abused up to 500 victims over a four-decade period.
Why am I sharing this with you?
The man in charge of the CPS at the time, that decided there was 'insufficient evidence' to charge Savile, is the now Leader of the Labour Party Sir Kier Starmer."
Oh dear it seems he's a wrongun as well. Why don't that surprise me. I was most disappointed in Watson who I thought was going to rid Westminster of all the wronguns and unfortunately they all closed ranks.

Re: Labour Watch
You do have to wonder when the penny will drop for people. The game is rigged. The rich always win. No other result is allowed. Any attempt, even mild, at taking power back from the billionaires will face the full force of the establishment. That said the fundamental disagreement within Labour is whether capitulation is the answer. The Labour Left say, feck it, stick to your guns. Have principles and refuse to let your ideas be crushed. The Labour Right say, if we can't win doing what we'd like to do its better to win and do what we're allowed to do even if it makes the situation worse.

I commented on the start he has made and his opening position. A valid observation, best made at the start.
I called you out following your silly comment and you had no sensible reply. Live with it.

What's really going on is the same as it was then when Savile had access to the highest echelons of government. Namely, the establishment protecting its own at any cost regardless of what they've done.Thor wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 2:34 pmI know terrible wasn’t it, all of course with hindsight.
