Well if all the Tories like him, he must have something.
Let's all get behind the Starmer team and cheer them all the way to Westminster.
I might have a change of heart and hang around after all, sniping from the sidelines and trying to discredit him at every turn. That’s what we’re supposed to do, isn’t it?
Sniping from the sidelines will not be enough.
You should ally yourself with anyone you can to launch a propoganda campaign to discredit the leadership up to and including a full blown coup.
I will get back to you on how this can be funded. There are several interested parties.
"In 2009, the paedophile Jimmy Savile was interviewed under caution by police in Surrey and Sussex. Subsequently, the police referred 4 cases to the CPS alleging that Jimmy Savile had abused 3 girls under the age of 16.
The CPS, after receiving the files from the police, refused to prosecute Savile and dropped the case claiming ‘insufficient evidence’’.
After Savile’s death, and despite multiple attempts of high level cover ups, we now know that he abused up to 500 victims over a four-decade period.
Why am I sharing this with you?
The man in charge of the CPS at the time, that decided there was 'insufficient evidence' to charge Savile, is the now Leader of the Labour Party Sir Kier Starmer."
Oh dear it seems he's a wrongun as well. Why don't that surprise me. I was most disappointed in Watson who I thought was going to rid Westminster of all the wronguns and unfortunately they all closed ranks.

Wow. I'm sure you're about to do this anyway but can you send over the compelling proof that there was sufficient evidence to prosecute? If you can also then add the documentary proof that the decision not to prosecute was taken by Keir Starmer himself then that would be great. TIA.
Deep joy. Illuminaries such as Matt Forde, Tony Robinson and Frances Barber rejoining labour is making me seriously consider chucking my membership in.
I don’t see why fannies like this who openly encouraged anti-labour voting should be readmitted.

Whoever 'sent you' this failed to include some very important information.
There were significant failures by police in both Sussex and Surrey; and also by the principal lawyer in dealing with the allegations. Had Saville even got to court, his defence would have had a field day.
However, let's not let facts and the process of law, get in the way of desperate, wafer-thin tory smears, eh?

Because people who encouraged anti-labour voting weren't just allowed into the party but promoted to lofty positions under the previous leadership?

Tiresomely predictable.
I missed the incriminating link between Surrey and Sussex cops direct to the CPS Headed by Starmer. It doesn't work like that. Which was part of the problem.
As I understand it the CPS review the evidence and only spend public money if there is a reasonable chance of success. If Starmer didn’t proceed the issue will be one of a lack of evidence. Not his fault and the correct decision if others didn’t do their jobs well enough.

The other is to give our tenner a month to the Greens, now the only mainstream party with anything socialist tendencies.

What is in the least bit socialist about nut munching, sandal wearing middle class do gooders?
I like him. Far fewer people would have died that will die in the coming weeks. The figures coming out are BS. The best thing for the UK is Boris is hiding in his apartment. He is exactly just like that other "Tit" Trump. Please wake up people! If you want to give out to me feel free. Why were we left with such incompetence in world leadership? I've been warning for so long. I'm worried for the UK, I'm worried about my family and I'm worried about all off you. We need to "come together by staying apart"

Great to see finally the end of the failed experiment in socialism and the back of the worst leader the Labour Party have ever had.
The return of the centrists will also mean goodbye to Lansman, Formby and the other Momentum apparatchiks.
Happy days.
If socialism is a failed experiment, why do we have to keep resorting to it every few years?

To enable a new generation to get fooled again. The flirtation soon passes.

Tories seem to be experimenting with socialism atm and their voters are oddly lapping it up

True Womble, but they are so stupid they would lap up anything.

Are you saying Starmer reviewed this evidence?
Who knows. But given the high profile nature I would be amazed if he had no knowledge. Most likely handled by senior people who briefed him and offered their recommendations. I struggle to attach blame to Starmer. He will have been operating based on advice given.
Though of course as the top man it’s right and proper his role and that of his team come under scrutiny. The buck stops at the top if mistakes we’re made. I have seen no reason to believe they were, in terms of the evidence submitted to the CPS being mis-handled.
Handling by the police? Could I believe their investigation was not good. Right now, yes.
