Wow. I'm sure you're about to do this anyway but can you send over the compelling proof that there was sufficient evidence to prosecute? If you can also then add the documentary proof that the decision not to prosecute was taken by Keir Starmer himself then that would be great. TIA.

Whoever 'sent you' this failed to include some very important information.
There were significant failures by police in both Sussex and Surrey; and also by the principal lawyer in dealing with the allegations. Had Saville even got to court, his defence would have had a field day.
However, let's not let facts and the process of law, get in the way of desperate, wafer-thin tory smears, eh?

I missed the incriminating link between Surrey and Sussex cops direct to the CPS Headed by Starmer. It doesn't work like that. Which was part of the problem.
As I understand it the CPS review the evidence and only spend public money if there is a reasonable chance of success. If Starmer didn’t proceed the issue will be one of a lack of evidence. Not his fault and the correct decision if others didn’t do their jobs well enough.

Are you saying Starmer reviewed this evidence?
Who knows. But given the high profile nature I would be amazed if he had no knowledge. Most likely handled by senior people who briefed him and offered their recommendations. I struggle to attach blame to Starmer. He will have been operating based on advice given.
Though of course as the top man it’s right and proper his role and that of his team come under scrutiny. The buck stops at the top if mistakes we’re made. I have seen no reason to believe they were, in terms of the evidence submitted to the CPS being mis-handled.
Handling by the police? Could I believe their investigation was not good. Right now, yes.
