I've played with a lot of Lego, as a kid and as a Dad, and can safely say that neither I, nor anyone I know, has ever thought of putting the blue brick on top of the yellow brick to make a larger structure as 'mating'. I genuinely feel sad for people who come up with this stuff and are actually being serious.
