I agree, but the trouble with Brophys running with the ball is, that it never comes to anything other than free kicks.

Widdowson is just not comfortable going forward and just seems to freeze when he gets the ball in attacking positions.
I'd like to see Brophy put on the left to give us a real threat from that side.

Yes Joe is a defensive minded player, it's just the way he is.
Over the years, the best attacking left backs at the Os, well Dennis Rofe, Bill Roffey for just a starter !!
