It's not that AMAZING. A tiger riding a horse would be amazing.

Re: Drinan out 6-8 weeks
Its a shame for him, but his absence might see RW discover a more effective combination up front sooner than he otherwise would. The one that lost 1-0 to charlton, 2-0 to Plymouth 4-0 to Pompey & drew 0-0 at Blackpool ? only 2 goals v wycombe in our 3-2 defeat all of which Drinan Was not part o...

Re: Danny Macklin
I'm glad he's been found and hope he gets the support he needs. Maybe some time away from front line footballing duties might be best for him. It's very easy to invest your whole identity in the job you do and sometimes a break from it can make you realise it isn't actually the most important thing.

Don't know if it's a first but it's a sign that we're largely a League 2 team playing in League 1.
Until we can move on some of our poorer players and replace them with higher standard ones then I don't see much alternative.

It is an odd one. There's been no noticeable change in the effectiveness or any sign of innovation in any of our set pieces since he arrived.

Re: Negative, boring football.
Personally think the hidden (to most fans) advantages of keeping the ball and pulling their players around ain’t necessarily to score in that moment, but to fire them out and therefore make it easier to score later on. In a way, we sort of did that. There were loads of gaps in the last 15 mins but ...

For a second there l thought this was going to be about Daniel Agyei. He’s back in training so that’s good news He is, but it seems like we're investing an awful lot of hope in his return being the catalyst for a change in fortunes. I hope he is, but reports from his pre-season cameos don't make me...

Re: Negative, boring football.
We need a rethink on formation. Our defence and midfield won so many balls back and as soon as it went past the halfway line the ball was wasted. No creativity in the number ten role and Piggot and drinan haven’t got a creative bone in their body. Pigott is only League 2 standard at best and Drinan...

Re: New O's Jewish Supporters Group
Dunno about the entrance exam. Maybe :) I don't know whether these groups that represent specific interests welcome people who identify themselves as not being in that cohort. Sure, it would be more inclusive but then it waters down the whole point of having a separate group. What if a ton of people...

Re: New O's Jewish Supporters Group
Is it a “culture war issue” though. Because this looks to me like a fairly reasonably discussion surrounding a new group and what the need for it is. I don’t see the need for it, but I’m not against it and I’m certainly not saying it shouldn’t be allowed - I just think we’re all better together. Ha...

Fairly sure you don’t have to be Jewish to be in any of the groups you mention though.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 7:42 pm Good for them if it brings fans together. I get that other fans can form groups too, but we're all O's fans. Why the need to be separate? Surely all inclusive is better.
