Re: Medical Incident East Stand
Guys, I want to apologise if I caused offence. My concern was for the well being of supporters, indeed all connected to the club. It was not my intention to slag off the club. There was a guy lying down in the East stand some rows behind me, that much is factual, but beyond that I fully accept I do ...

Re: Medical Incident East Stand
So, why didn't you just say that I had got it wrong, although there was a guy lying down he was being well looked after.

Re: Medical Incident East Stand
Spen and Bugsy, why are you having a go at me. You say I am assuming but assuming what? I saw a guy lying down, there were people around him. This was going on for a few minutes (then we left as we couldnt help). Spen you say there are medic staff in the ground, i didn't see any obvious medics but p...

Re: Medical Incident East Stand
I didnt assume anything, i could see the guy lying down with stewards running around but no medical staff. It looked so much like the situation when poor Derek died. Pleased to hear that he is ok

Medical Incident East Stand
As todays match finished it seemed that a fan was taken ill in the East Stand. We didn't stay to watch but it did seem that lessons had not been learned. I would have expected to see blankets and our own medical staff rushing across the pitch but No.
We do hope that the guy is ok

Off thread but 2 ex Os playing for Eastleigh v Reading on tv. Paul Mccallum and Nigel Attanga. PM has scored 16 already this season. Perhaps if we had him we might score a few headers

Oh Electric Vehicles Over priced Crap range Take ages to charge (speed charge 45 mins!! Battery is probably more toxic to the environment than diesel engines…probably I have an EV - It was about £3,000 more expensive than a petrol equiv - but all new cars are expensive. but see my comments below on...

Re: Exiles thread - Bristol Rovers (A)
The fact that Drinan went off at half time injured and Agyei didn't replace him shows how far he is away from being able make an impact in this team. I wouldn't expect anything from him until January at the very earliest, and will probably take another month or so of playing regularly to really get...

Harlow: Tesco E10 147.9p, Sainsbury 149.9 (diesel 155.9), BP Edinburgh Way 149.9
The BP garage on Leyton high rd is usually priced much a few p lower than Harlow garages, as is the Esso garage on Lea Bridge Rd near Essex Rd

Re: Tuesday V Portsmouth
Its giving fringe guys like Jaydon Sweeney game time and stake a claim to a Lg1 starting place
We need to win by 3 clear goals to go above Portsmouth, then we qualify either first or second depending of outcome of Gillingham and Fulham. If we win by fewer goals we need Gills and Fulham to draw.

Irish Road Tolls-collectable in the UK
We have just received in the post a letter requiring us to pay a toll charged on the M50 in Dublin. Its only a small amount so will pay it but does anyone know if it is actually enforceable on us in England. It has come from a UK company, Euro Parking collections plc. The stuff on Google I looked up...

Re: Poppies vs Palestine
A thought struck me. The Arabs want the Israelis to leave. So, do us white English have the right to demand all these Arab types leave England? Unfortunately I might also have to go because of my Irish heritage, in fact I might have to be cut up because I think I also have some Jewish blood in me. G...

Before that match I had read that teams that were relegated had often lost their first home match. Certainly applied to us (but not this season!)

We are Leyton Orient in Lg1, we are hard bloody hard to beat. Probably what Portsmouth were thinking, I know, but RW is excellence at under standing the opposition. We have to be very positive

RW wants to progress in it, also sees it as an opportunity for fringe players to get minutes. Can't see Portsmouth putting out anything but a reserve team considering they played this afternoon

Are the Bank of England behind the curve with interest rates? This week Company failures are reported at being the highest since 2009 (post credit crunch) and i have just read that massive shipping company Maersk are cutring a further 3500 jobs following 6500 cut earlier this year. Shipping containe...

Re: What is the answer to the optimum breakfast?
Love a fry up and whenever I'm in a hotel I always take the cooked breakfast. The great Escoffier once wrote that to eat well in England one should simply take breakfast 3 times a day. Because I'm trying to lose weight by avoiding carbs as much as possible- Mrs Spike makes a seriously lovely Keto g...

Re: Today's totally unsurprising news...
I went to a Times book launch the other night. It was very enjoyable. I hadn't seen so many white folks in one place since last time I went to Warners Leisure. The Times did have a wider age range than Warners. I guess the GB news audience will be very similar, possibly fewer than the number of MPs ...

Disagree with you about todays music, there is a fantastic choice out there. I agree that they are legends, but Oasis and Ed Sheeran have had some enormous concerts in more recent times
