Yes, just to join in... 'Really sorry for Theo and I hope modern surgery will repair the damage. I was 12 when I ruptured my knee ligaments and dislocated the joint. 'Spent ages in Whipp's and had the torn cartilege removed. Eventually got to see the Marshes again but wasn't much cop by then. Now, ...

Re: Orient Palace 1982 - FA Cup 5th Rnd
I remember this. Moores penalty miss was the trigger for an appalling late season collapse from the Os. I seem to recall he was the current London player of the month when he played in this match. As for 1982 - I remember that crazy month of results 28 Sept Huddersfield 6 Orient 0 2 October Orient ...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal 2025/26 - Season Ticket Holders Only
Well I've probably watched far more non league than you or Hoover, so I'll have my opinion you have yours. The be all and end all is I ( that's me) thinks you see 100% commitment and sometimes, pro players don't show that. Anyway the question originally was 'will you buy a season for next year' and ...

Well according to a lot posters on here, we have players who aren't 100% committed.

Re: Season Ticket Renewal 2025/26 - Season Ticket Holders Only
Absolute nonsense. Steps 1-3 are scattered with players with as much talent as those in L1 and L2, but just without the right mindset to make it. Where did I say talent, I said 100% commitment. Have you ever seen a non league game?? And besides the team I watch are step 4. Anything else you'd like ...

Not Haringey Borough is it?CEB2ElectricBoogaloo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 10:35 am To be fair, I’ve been regularly going to see a team in a deprived area of North London, who don’t have much success, and I totally agree that their players sometimes seem to not give a toss

And what you do have in Non League football is 100% commitment from all the players. I also feel part of the club, speak to the chairman and staff, ok average attendance is around 250, BUT I've been really enjoying it. Seriously thinking of getting a season ticket there next season. I've supported t...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal 2025/26 - Season Ticket Holders Only
The big winners will be non-league clubs. My local club's attendances are well up this season, and it's looking more and more attractive from a spectator experience POV. Been going to my local non league team (Brightlingsea Regent), have a few beers, cost £6 to get in and costs me nothing in travel.

Re: Season Ticket Renewal 2025/26 - Season Ticket Holders Only
Probably not going to renew, just not proving cost effective this season. I’ll still attend as many home games as I can but pay per game. I can't justify paying out £30 in train fare, £15 for cab back to Wivenhoe from Colchester after Tuesday night games, when I can sit on my sofa and watch for not...
