Re: Released Players

Ethan Light signed in January 2023 seen as long term development player, signed on 18 month contract by the clubs recruitment team. Yet another reason why RW alone should choose and have the final say on all incoming players . Its always a gamble with youngsters. No-one really knows how they are go...

Re: Anyone think Richie might be off?

Richie has only just got his CV looking halfway decent after the failures at Salford and Doncaster. He must realise that the grass is not always greener elsewhere. However money talks and the prospect of a big payoff when sacked might just tempt him - remember Slade and Cardiff.

Re: Anyone think Richie might be off?

I wouldn't particularly want Wellens to go chiefly because I wouldn't really know who to replace him. I think he is overrated though. He’s the best manager we’ve had in my 40+ years. I’m not sure what people expect someone to achieve in a little over 2 years. Those people won't know what they had u...

Lovely interview by him on x. He has done a great job and if I see him before he leaves, I will thank him for the f...... memories.

Will this give an opportunity for Prats to stay as part player, part coach?

If not I wonder who else will step up or come in? Thompson?

Re: Richie Wellens Interview post Exeter

Wonder who the players are who aren't learning / improving :?: Surely Pigott must be one of them . I was there last night and Pigott did nothing all the time he was on the pitch. More importantly, you can see from the highlights that he has no idea which position to take up when a cross comes in - ...

Re: Players who we don’t need any more

The club operate on a tight budget and a fairly small squad Neither of these things are really true. Let’s put it another way The clubs budget is insufficient to even get in the play offs, something major must change or we will never get promoted to the Championship and sustain a position there. Pe...

Re: Players who we don’t need any more

I would sell Ruel, it’s laughable that he would be a championship player if we got promoted or indeed be playing for a team regularly who get promoted from league one. Caveat, I didn’t rate Hector so I could be completely wrong! I didn't rate Hector either and that's why we both aren't in pro footb...

Looking forward to seeing him Dan A and Theo back ASAP. Unfortunately I don’t think will happen, have a feeling that at...

Re: Do 'Islamists control London/Khan/Starmer'?

It’s a rhyming couplet, not rhyming slang. ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free’. The only ones claiming this means something other than for Palestine to be free are those that don’t want Palestine to be free/exist. (Delete as appropriate). LOL. So it means nothing? And if I said to y...

Re: Do 'Islamists control London/Khan/Starmer'?

Calls of 'From the river to the sea....' plus the projection of that phrase is just calling for genocide of the Jews in Israel and the obliteration of that country. . Do people really think calling for a free Palestine is the same as calling for the genocide of Jews in Israel? So what do you think ...

Re: Do 'Islamists control London/Khan/Starmer'?

I believe Anderson's comments stem from the lack of met police action against Jew hate within the weekly marches plus the demonstration in Parliament Sq. He patently believes they are acting under Khan's orders to ignore, however I am not saying he is right. Calls of 'From the river to the sea....' ...
