Re: Lineker leaving MotD
I bet a woman replaces him which means I will again have to scroll forward over the chat like I do with Lineker. Fair play for admitting out loud that, regardless of what she might actually say or whether she's any good at her job, you'd fully commit to ignoring a woman simply because she's a woman...

Re: Lineker leaving MotD
Many years ago I met Lineker as a posh party in Hadley Wood. The guy whose party it was brought him over to me before they played snooker. I said hello and told him that I was an Orient supporter. He said ' oh, you're the one' - meaning I was the only supporter! Banter, I guess. I don't like him bec...

Re: Milton Keynes FC
The only benefit I can see from this game is to give players like Jordan Graham some pitch time . Hopefully he plays well enough to make the lineup for our next league game . We’ve missed him . Edit, Does anybody on here know how Theo’s comeback is going? Last I heard he was back in light training ...

Re: another quiet evening on this board
We had maybe 5 or more players performing well , instead of maybe 1 or 2 in recent weeks Keeley, Currie, O’Neill, Agyei , Galbraith the stand outs for me, but the others weren’t too far behind. Keeley is looking good, makes a real difference. Surely you have got to add 39 year old Pratley to the to...

He stopped a promising attack as their player hurt himself trying to tackle Happe but failed. A very bad decision.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 10:33 am Based on second half, ref was awful. Letting players get away with ridiculous pushes and pulls.

Re: Millwall away
Quite tempted, never seen Os at the Den. I was there in the 70s aged about 21 years old, Seated in a stand with a wall between us and some Millwall yobs. We scored and some of them came over the wall to attack us. Didn't know I could move that fast! Now that I am 73, I don't think I will give it an...

Re: Dan Happe’s pass…
Not watched it back but looked like the defender was done either way - the ‘header’ was a last ditch attempt because Kelman had got wrong side of him. Great movement (as he showed all game), great pass, great first touch, great touch to move the keeper left, then great finish. Looks like Richie was...

Re: Dan Happe’s pass…
To Kelman for the Os goal … pure quality De Bruyne does that in premier league/ Champions league and the pundits would be going overboard about the quality.. 100% Happe has become a bit of a expert with that diagonal ball....got us on the attack quite a few times last season. Unbelievable Jeff

Re: League one preview remark about LOFC
Trust in Richie. He's got his man in Kelman, finally. He's changed our formation to accommodate him, as well as our entire way of playing as a result. The biggest question mark is over Warrington. He's looked ok so far, and again you have to trust Richie's ability to spot a midfielder. El Miz and G...
