Re: British airways

Totally agree with first post. Contact them and they are too busy phone back later. Took our holiday payment, said successful but there is an issue. Can't get through to find out why. Bank confirmed payment but not showing on the website login. Total garbage.

Re: If we lose at Gillingham.......

I remember April 1970 last game of the season when we had won the League - Gillingham beat us at home 1-2 but it didn't matter a truly great night! Happy days

Re: League 1

replacing players will be needed for League 1 and hopefully bring them in reasonably early as they will need time to bed in and give them as much pre-season time as possible to gel.

Re: Fletcher must go

Its always difficult to make comments without giving someone a chance. However, I questioned his decision to start the match against Carlisle with one up front based on their form at the time. After they equalised, why did he take our only forward off? I left in disbelief as I thought what the hell ...

Re: Owls

Had someone come in once with an owl. It wasn't every year but the school was either William Mcguffie or William Morris (Walthamstow). can't remember which one, nearly fifty years ago.

Re: Orient Shirts - is this a real thing?

colour on the shirt I have is more orange than yellow but if you look at old coloured photos of 69 / 70 they were more towards orange than yellow.

Re: Orient Shirts - is this a real thing?

yep, Definitely the shirt from the 69/70 season. I bought one off Toffs several years ago. Its very thick / heavy material - good quality but wouldn't want to run around in it!
