Re: RW interviews
I would love him to become a long term manager here and oversee the eventual new era in a bigger stadium and leave us as a bigger club with bigger prospects and ambitions. But football rarely works out like that in the lower leagues. 2 years is a long time. Slade did well with 4 and half years. If t...

Re: empty seats
Tuesday night or midweek games have never been as popular Saturday. Most Saturday's it looks 90% full and seem to sell out. The club are turning down some on the day ticket sales because of limited capacity. Also statistically we are the club with the most full ground in L1. We could do with a large...

Re: RW seriously pi55ed off
I think at this stage Richie would do well to button it. We are not doing a Carlisle and bottom after winning promotion and a big reason for that is the manager has been given a healthy budget and backed. We lost Agyei in pre season who was a big signing and then fetched in Jordan Graham another big...

I only wish Graham was fit. Him and Agyei in the same side is a real threat. Bases of a really strong team next year/season.

Re: Ratings
There is something Gazza like about the chest out, running style and physicality Theo displays on the pitch. He has very similar running style to Gazza. Not saying he is as good as Gazza and it's a different position but watch next time he runs and closes down players. He is so confident with the ba...

8,143. Last years was roughly 7,800. Our first few games last season was about 6,500 and this year we will start with bigger gates so I would expect an increase unless we do terribly and the apathy kicks in.

Is Paul Smyth better than Moses Odubajo or Dean Cox? Not sure he is. He's the best winger we've had since them and over the last 6/7 years or so.

Is being involved with 3 promotions while at Orient some kind of club record for an individual? Surely one of the most successful guys to work for the club. No relegations either.

Re: Meet the Chairman
My only criticism at this stage is why no striker when it's obvious we needed a goalscorer. They maybe could of brought one in instead of one of the other positions. I'm certainly not complaining about money spent. The budget here is maxed out and we seem to be losing more money than any other club ...

I don't think we have played AFC Wimbledon in the league. We have in the tinpot trophy. That will change this season obviously.

Re: Where are the signings
Wasn't the Moncur signing a transfer record for us? I only pop in and out of here occasionally but hardly see it mentioned. On the Hull City twitter feed it stated we had signed him for over 300k and rising to quite a bit more depending on appearances. Orient put out it was undisclosed. Hull deleted...

Re: Ratings.
I have no complaints with our forward players or our attacking play, we look good in a number of areas and very mobile. Archibald looked a threat every time he recieved it and we were causing them problems at the start with our press. The first half was a disaster from a defensive point of view and a...

Can't remember the last time an Orient player scored 3 and set up 2 in one match. Drinan is class. I thought he looked great from the very first game this season. Very lively and real hard worker as well. He appears to also be a clinical finisher.

Our next manager after Jackett. Hopefully not for a few years though as I want stability and for KJ to be a success.

Re: Scunthorpe United on 16th Nov
The fact we're even talking about possible 7,000 plus crowds is brilliant really. Our crowds have been really impressive last couple of years. Our current average is 4th best in the division only behind Bradford, Plymouth and Swindon which are all city clubs. The owners have done well in this regard...

I would say give Ross another 7 games. That will be enough games played to see if we are in any trouble. If we are comfortable then he stays if not then bring in someone with Ross stepping back as coach. Wouldn't want to see him leave altogether as he is a good servant to the club and is an excellen...

I was walking past the incident and heard a Southend fan shout "you can't say that it's racist you bunch of ******" To be fair Southend fans (most of which were just family of players or an older set people who are probably part of their supporters club not looking for trouble) were sittin...

There were times when in L1 when we would get regularly around 4,000 home support through the turnstyles and sub 3,000 on a tuesday night. This despite having the best team of a generation. Last season we were getting regularly over 6,000 in non league. The club have made great strides in this area...

Blimey, Just had a look at last years accounts, 2.8 m loss? How long can that carryon for? That is horrendous. It was £2.35m, and was for 2017/18 - i.e. the first season under Travis/Teague. According to this year's AGM in April, the loss for 2018/19 was estimated to be around £1.9m and forecast fo...

Re: Rocking All Over The World
Didn't we used to play a song called FantasticO which was recorded I think by our team around '78 after matches. I remember this in the 90's. I miss that song being played although it is quite melancholy and is probably best used after we lose or don't quite get the luck. London Calling is perfect f...
