Re: Essex CCC
Game could be all over today! But let's hope we can bat better in the second dig and set them a decent total.

Re: Will Richie still be our manager next season? POLL
Just looked on the Barnsley fans forum. They are saying it's a done deal. I really hope they are wrong.

Re: Highlights: Shrewsbury Town 1-3 Leyton Orient
Pity that they didn't show the Shaq Forde effort that hit the bar in the highlights reel. Certainty for goal of the season if it had gone in.

Re: Orient v Shrewsbury Prediction Thread OFFICIAL
Shrewsbury are the lowest scorers in League 1 and have not won in their last 6. We have been on the beach for the last few weeks. Got a borefest 0-0 written all over it, but, with Matt Harrold in charge of the team let's hope we can rouse ourselves to give him a good send off. Shrewsbury 0 Leyton Or...

Re: Exiles thread - Exeter (H)
Our performance in the last 20 minutes was just bizarre. We were only down to 10 men not 8. You have to keep some sort of shape in those circumstances and our shape was non-existent. Nine people on the edge of the penalty area with no outlet ball whatsoever. We just hoofed it up the park to nobody a...

This is the Agyei that's been fit enough to start 5 league games all season is it?

Anything involving horses
Rugby Union - especially scrums. What a waste of time just to get the ball back into play.

Re: Exiles Thread.
Lincoln, despite being absolutely nothing special, have been our real bogey team this year. 1-0 up near the end in the first home game before it was abandoned in tragic circumstances, lost the second home game to a last minute goal and now, today, we've lost to another last minute goal.

Signing in from the beautiful island of Madeira where it is very windy with occasional downpours. Massive game today - 3 points needed if at all possible.

Re: Happe return?
There was a rumour floating around a couple of weeks ago that Agyei wasn't as badly injured as at first thought and could be back much quicker but this all seems to have gone very quiet.

Re: New signing - Jack Simpson
“Everybody deserves a second chance” is facile bollocks. This is a guy with no obvious track record of being a particularly good footballer, no history of even playing regularly enough to be considered a reliable player, who has been signed despite a recent instance of pretty shocking racism, which...

Great win for Crewe yesterday at Notts County. Ed Turns is certainly on for back to back promotions - and possibly back to back League 2 championships.

Very complimentary towards us which was nice. But to listen to that guy you would think that Oxford were in the relegation zone rather than sixth! Still, I guess that they haven't had many wins recently and can see the promotion dream slipping through their fingers.

Re: Meet the Manager
Northampton twice behind in the game but came back both times to equalise - a bit like the game against us but Oxford couldn't nick a last minute winner. Hopefully that might have sapped a bit of their energy whereas this time, it is our turn to have a week off and hopefully prepare properly.

Burton - a team of giants
I don't think I've ever seen such a physically big team as Burton were yesterday. They had 6 players in their starting eleven who were 6 feet 2 and above. A couple were 6 feet 4 and one was 6 feet five. Three of the subs they bought on were 6 feet plus and the crowning glory was the huge guy who cam...

Re: O’Neill
Thought O'Neil was fantastic last night. Gave their full back a real roasting. Looking forward to seeing him go again on Saturday against Burton. Really unlucky not to score a second last night, great shot that their keeper did very well to get a hand to but could only push out to Forde.

Re: Can we make the playoffs?
The loss of Agyei is massive, and means we will probably just fall short. If Dan had been playing in our last 2 games we would have won both by 4 or 5 goals. Its still possible however, just not as likely now My thoughts exactly. I just don't think that we have got the firepower to make the play of...

Re: Exiles thread - Port Vale (A)
Port Vale forum in meltdown … a lot of praise for us though, be interesting to see how it pans out with Robbie Williams waiting in the wings. Yes, their team, and particularly their DOF are all getting a tremendous amount of stick. Only exception is their keeper who is rightly getting a lot of prai...

What on earth was happening there? Had Wealdstone hired Rent-a-mob for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon? And what was the keeper doing? Bizarre.

Re: Dan Agyei
Really strange in my book that, although Agyei was clearly struggling towards the end in the game against Reading, we kept him on. I know that we had already used all our subs but it would have been better to play for a few minutes with ten men rather than risk causing further damage which means we ...

Re: Simpson post match
Carlisle's first goal was a total fluke. The guy who "scored" knew nothing about it. I thought their best player by far was their keeper. He made a few outstanding saves. Theo should have scored in the first 5 minutes. Then Pigott missed those two incredible chances at the end. On another ...
