Re: Do we need MOTD?

Viewing audiences are around 2 million, but 3 million tuned in that time when there were no presenters or tedious analysis. You would think the BBC might take something from that before handing out another load of our cash to another presenter Oh come on. The increase was obviously due to the furor...

Re: Lineker leaving MotD

Doesn't even need a presenter as we saw during his absence. Just have the titles before each game and save a couple of million. Idk, that was really sh*t and kind of underlined the importance of having people actually working on the show. Can't think of a single good candidate to replace Lineker, b...

Re: Shaq & Ruel

Ruel has never kicked on Unfair and not true. Ruel more than played his part last season in our top half finish. His first ever season at L1 level resulted in 11 goals, very respectable and definitely’kicked on’ from the prior season where he scored 9 goals in L2 in our promotion winning season. He...

Re: Dan Agyei

He showed yesterday why we're so totally reliant on a single player leading the line, great to see last season's Agyei return though a reminder we're one injury away from being in big trouble upfront

Re: Fans booing their own players

Plus people seemed more entitled these days. Look at this board. No ones happy, whatever division you are in unless you are top 7 and winning games About that point, Orient by all accounts have been pretty terrible for much of the time I've followed them (90's onwards) and seen plenty of teams surg...

Re: Fans booing their own players

I have booed in the past. Very rarely but it has only been done when no endeavour is shown. I can quite happily accept if a player is lacking talent and would never publicly criticise that. But I cannot abide a player who does not try. If I’ve paid hard earned cash (and possibly travelled at expens...

Re: Exiles thread

Have to say Blackpool were absolutely rubbish. Conceded a variation of the same goal 3 times. O'Neill and Agyei looked more like last seasons versions of themselves, if they can keep at that form we will get goals and be fine. That is the thing, very reliant on Agyei to lead the line, don't want to...

Wonder if the club could move an Orient WFC game to BR on that vacant Saturday? Make it free entry for all, gives people something to watch and gets exposure for the women's game too

Absolutely, if not lower. Our midfield was atrocious before he came in and unfortunately heading back the same way since he's left

Re: I wish RW lived in the real world...

How many times does the way in which the club recruits have to be explained. It's a collective responsibility - not an individual one. "Martin does the signings" was a line directly said by the manager at one point, if the DoF isn't responsible for this side of things what exactly is he e...

Re: Is Ling really the problem?

And a promotion I'm calling this the DoF Paradox... the league titles are apparently due to him (which is an insult to JE and RW) but the Fletcher / Embleton appointments and poor transfer windows are nothing to do with the role 🤔 Who was DoF when JE & RW were bought in? He played a role, has a...

Re: Is Ling really the problem?

Martin Ling is much less important than this thread gives him credit for. HIs greatest success was in throwing a viable squad together from nothing in the summer of 2017. It's been diminishing returns ever since, especially since his boy Embleton got binned off. He's probably handy to have around, ...
