In the office the other day the TV was on espn and they were showing some guys throwing bean bags into a hole on a ramp. You can find any old crap on TV these daysChelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 10:05 amYou'ed have to try very hard to find it on the TV.

Re: Ipswich Town...
Surely if Ipswich go up to the premier league it makes a huge difference. They'll pocket 100mil from TV rights, why would they quibble over 100k for a player surplus to requirements

Re: Released Players
As good as Galbraith, Obiero, and Brown might be, they are just young kids. Game against Shrewsbury changed markedly when Pratley left the field. I accept El Mizouni is also young, but he is advanced for his years and can handle himself. If El Mizouni doesn't return, we definitely need an experienc...

Re: Released Players
Disappointed that Pigott and Moncur haven't been put on the transfer list.
What's the point in offering Pratley a contract, what are we going to get out of him next season, 10 games at best, and his wages are not going to be cheap. Would rather us use that on a youngster with potential,

Re: Current squad players you want to keep
Happy for any experienced player who can't nail down a place in the team to leave. So that would be James, Hunt, Moncur, Pratley and Pigott. Maybe Beckles too, as I'm not sure he's first xi.

Rough memory of him. He was a young centre half or left back iirc. I think Zak came through about the same time and was by far the better of the 2.

Re: Is he that good?
I feel that pep had got a bit arrogant this season, and feels he can win with any eleven players he puts out. For half the season they've been playing 4 centre halves, and have got away with things due to the quality of their attacking players

Re: No more FA Cup replays
I like this, I think there'll be more upsets and make the later rounds more interesting.
Not sure why everyone is up in arms at the EPL, surely the FA have made this decision, or does the FA cup have nothing to do with them anymore?

Sad the road Le Tissier has gone down I am of the opinion the lab leak theory is most plausible now though It always was the most plausible, really. That aspect of covid is very revealing of how things that may or may not have happened can be politicised in advance: it became “right wing” to give c...

David Cameron was interviewed this morning by Kay Burley. She asked him what would Britain do if a hostile country attacked one of our embassies. He replied we would respond in the strongest way. So, is ok for us, or any country to respond to an attack, but not Iran. Israel can kill 30,000 innocent...

Re: Cd to FLAC to HHD/SSD
If the average song is say 15mb in flac, and you have 700cds with an average of 14 songs per cd, you'd need an ssd of at least 150gb. The biggest problem you'll have is that It'll take about 15mins per cd to rip to flac, so you're looking at 175 hours to do all cds. Personally I'd go SSD over HDD. P...
