McKirdy's problem was directly heart related in that a coronary artery was "kinked" and needed a bit of surgery to open it up fully to supply his heart muscles. I think it is well worth the risk but l don't know if the insurance assessors would go for it. I saw two full games with McKirdy ...

For as long as l can recall, Orient teams have always struggled on small pitches where closing down and dashing about like headless chickens is the normal mode of operation. It used to be worse when Brisbane Rd had the widest pitch in football.
