Re: New investors

If they know what they are doing, they will see the potential rather than being reactive to what's happening on the pitch.

Re: Perkins

Deffo a player in there, but a strange signing as Richie likes quick energetic players, which Sonny is not.

Re: Updated Realty Check

All good runs eventually come to an end as do losing streaks. We'll be fine. However, gotta say _ this heretical thought keeps coming into my head: Keeley and Donley are both brilliant at this level and must remain first picks (of course). But does Keeley get pushed about too easily, does he spill ...

Whoever is abusing the away bench needs to give their heads a wobble, all it does is to galvenise the team to shut them up.

Re: Updated Realty Check

Let's not judge just yet, we're going through a gruelling run playing some of the top 'inform' sides, with the most difficult game having to play with 10 men. After next Saturday the schedule eases to one game a week and should have some players return. Still plenty of points to play for and in true...

Re: Currie Red

Would love to see if there is an angle to see if the ref had a clear view, or did he only see the initial lunge and then the crowd made it sound worse than what it was.

BP - profits before climate

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3374ekd11po Doubt many will be shocked by this. Again, it makes our attempts to limit climate change a waste of time when the bigger countries of the world don't really seem to care. Saying that, I have always wondered if we are too far down the road to reverse c...

In the original announcement it was mentioned a 'group'.

From what has been mentioned by others, sounds like it's the consortium that had a stake in Paris FC.

He's like a juggernaut through defences, trouble is the ball gets under his feet and ends up running past the ball.

I was surprised he was taken off though as won't be starting on Tuesday night.

Re: Sitton and Howard Bring their dinner

Really pleased to read that they finally met up and get it all out in the open.

I think John has had abit of a rough time recently, so maybe that put things into perspective, so mellowed over the feud with Terry.

Re: FORWARD NEEDED

Start of January the club states “we will only sign players that improve the squad". Come end of January we sign Sonny Perkins that apart from some fleeting moments, hasn't exactly shown enough that he improves the squad. Considering this and the fact we need bodies upfront, to an extent someon...

No they are probably not, plus it's on the Beeb.

To put into context, the game to them is like us playing Malden and Tiptree.

Wow
Erm, might need to look up who we have on loan.

Re: Tuesday & Saturdays games

Where's everyone from October asking for Richie to be sacked? Still hear, but remember that Richie had to go the lengths of removing himself from the touchline to change our fortunes. Rubbish, was on the bench at Stockport & Reading away & Rotherham at home, cheaper to have walkie talkies t...

The way his career has gone, seems that it's the wrong crowd.

They'll stick the frost covers on which protects the pitch down to minus 4c.

Doubt if the club will want the game postponed as won't want to break our decent run of form.

Sir Sadiq Khan

What the serious F!

Been given a knighthood for the simple fact that he's been london mayor for eight years.

The fact he's still in office says more about those that have gone up against him at election time than anything else.

What a joke.

They can't defend.

Second highest scorers with 33, but have also conceded the second highest with 32.

I suppose you could say that their games are never dull.

Would not surprise me in the least that Nigel only said what he did off the back of what he was told. Like any business owner, sometimes you have to rely on those you employ and trust what people tell you, even if you are sceptical. However, if people have bought season tickets solely off the back o...

Nigel mentioned that recruitment needs to improve. The budget has been blown and ended up being increased by 20% on last year. One of the loanees may be signed permanently (my money is on Kelman). Nigel has put in £10 million of his own money and will continue to fund the club. Still hopeful of find...

Re: Club to be banned from making noise?

Article has now been removed by the looks of it.

I was interpreting it that it was more to do with the club letting out space for parties etc than the noise on Matchdays. If I'm right then it may well spell the end of the club being able to generate revenue by letting out space.
