I'm prepared to give him the season but I want to see progress. I want to see us put two or three good performances back to back. I get everyone's frustration but I don't look around and see many options. From the way RW has been talking though, I don't think he's under any pressure. He seems to ...

He's no Charlie Daniels, that's for sure.

Good. This needed to happen. Gateshead are in an absolute mess and getting humped every week. It won't have been doing his confidence or development any good.

It seemed mad at the time, given that even an idiot could so what was going on there. I assume the poor lad is stuck there now, until Jan at the earliest.

His brother is a reserve keeper at Hull and so i'd imagine he could be staying with him, which may have been part of the attraction in ...

Is that sarcasm? RW is not our greatest ever manager. Not even close.

I don’t believe for a minute Wellens is trying to get himself sacked. He has nothing at all to gain for deliberately sabotaging the season by virtue of non management.
He’s a decent man I am sure, but he’s lost the plot as well as the dressing room.

I agree. I think another poor season would ...

They have backed Wellens massively.

They allowed him to bin off highly respected players like Beckles.
They have given budget to build his own squad.
They gave him a contract extension.
They let him off after nearly getting us relegated.
They allowed him to use the club to give his son’s ...

We don't have an S word in the English language that means tired, out of ideas and lacking inspiration.

The Germans have the word Saftlos, meaning juiceless or sapless. That will have to do.

I've been very supportive of RW but every manager hits a point where they've run out of ideas. If there was some manager out there who I liked the look of I'd be more interested in a change, but I really don't see many coaches who could take this squad and get more out of it.

I've been supportive of RW but he does need to accept that this is his squad, his players and his system. He's built a team that wants to work around a 10 and we're seeing that League One teams will sit narrow and deep in the defensive phase and we're forced out to the wings who aren't really ...

We scored twice against one of the most out of form teams in the league, at home. The reason we lost that game was entirely because we gave away three stupid goals. We didn't get played through, we conceded from the two set-pieces and one awful cock-up trying to play out from the back. we've been ...

Gilbert looks a lovely player. Him and Akhamrich are going to be a very dangerous combo.

We've looked sh*t trying to play out from the back since Phillips was dropped.

It wouldn't surprise me if we were setting up in our normal 4-2-3-1 but with Stevens at left back and Clare at right back. I think Wellens will start in the 10.

The thing with Dane is that he's neither one thing nor t'other. When he was young it looked like he was going to be an out and out goalscorer but the goals have just never materialised. In his last couple of loans they've tried to use him as a deeper forward and he looked good in flashes but he just ...

Richie just backing up what I was saying. Noah was very good in possession.

Agreed it’s harsh on Phillips who has been ok. He hasn’t had a huge amount to do, can only remember the one flap that he got away with, but his kicking isn’t great and he’s looked suspect on a few corners where he’s thrown hunself to the floor. A NL loan spell won’t do him any harm.

So, who plays when fit? Phillips? who's looked very good, Baxter? Who's looked okayish or this lad from Cov? Someone's going to be sat in the stands most weeks.

Season long loan. Absolutely bonkers decision.

Obiero's gone to Gillingham on loan. Bizarre.

Ali Gold has pretty much confirmed it and he only reports on things that are properly done.

Can’t remember seeing a worse league one club. Unless this is a blip they will be down by the new year

They looked every part an NL side tonight, Orient showed the technical abilities required from a L1 team. Well done O's :lofc:

I was shocked by how much time and space they gave us. They ...

Being linked to Spurs striker Dane Scarlett on a permanent.

He's been on the way down - was loaned to Championship clubs but then went on loan to the SPL, which is mostly League 1 standard.

Yeh, it just hasn't happened for him. Mourinho thought he was going to be the dogs bollocks. I don't ...
