Re: Club For A Fiver documentry
Wallace knew this was a basket case and that it was skint. It was evident from everything happening. He knew he was going to have to dip into his pocket but had decided he was on board with the club operating on more of a non-league basis. He said as much at the LOSC meeting called to "introduc...

Re: Do your children have smartphones?
Mine are now 24 and 21, but back in the iphone 5 days they got a smartphone probably aged 12, having been given a dumb phone when they went to secondary school. Until 16 they put their phones (and ipads) downstairs before bed. They have now gone through the social media obsession but are both active...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal 2025/26 - Season Ticket Holders Only
The international break issue needs prioritising by the EFL fan groups so the footballing bodies can come up with solutions. Our situation is far from ideal and will be mirrored, to a lesser degree, elsewhere.
However, this is not so much a Sky TV deal issue as it is an EFL scheduling one.

Re: Tonight's Division 1 Games
One thing you can be sure of on Saturday is a desperate, poor quality, and tedious game. Two poor sides who struggle in front of goal. I hope I’m proved wrong. The new manager bounce at Blackpool has quickly deflated. Not at all. When Steve Bruce is on the bench they win. He was off until the weeke...

I'd rather have 5,000 fans that will follow the club through thick and thin; support the players that wear the shirt and sweat in it; back the management when hey strive to improve - than have another 2,500 fans who blow like leaves in the wind. Just saying. Know what you're saying but you still sh...

Re: Sign Josh K up
Spurs have discovered the kids have value. Sold Troy Parrott in the summer for £7m!
So they signed Keeley up for another 3 years before sending him to us and even if he does not make Spurs' grade then he's still saleable.

Re: Are Fulham the most plastic of PL clubs?
I know a few people who got season tickets there because it’s the only club without a massive waiting list. You can see prem football, don’t see the problem really I get that, if the Prem is your bag. Besides what is a tourist? Plenty of Londoners travel up to watch Man U each home game and plenty ...

Re: Loan players
Kelley is far from ideal but looks like he’ll have to do for the season. Hopefully this will force us to reconsider our approach to arguably the most important position on the pitch. Currie is a success but otherwise, the rest can go back. Thought Currie was only here on 6 month loan. I thought it ...

Re: Richie Wellens reacts to victory over Boreham Wood in the FA Cup First Round
Sweeney praised by Ritchie at the end of this video, this after getting himself sent off for a really unnecessary second yellow card ? Tbf I thought he had a decent game before then and whilst it was stupid it was a bit harsh Stupid and fair. If an opponent had done this to us we'd be balling the r...

Re: Can’t afford to sack Wellens
If you look at the 3 permanent managers since Justin passed a pattern emerges: 1. Fletcher: correctly identified that the squad needed improvement which the club establishment (Ling et al) didn’t like. He was swiftly forced out 2. Jackett: results took a huge dip after a disastrous January transfer...

Re: Richard Kone & other London boys
I don't know Kone was from the east end, until I heard something in last week's commentary We probably lose many talented youngsters, because our scouting seems terrible I've not liked Steve Foster for quite a while because he's not very good in imo He's not. I read something about him in the summe...

Re: How much longer can Nigel sustain the losses?
Also interesting that the club often talks about the Brentford model, the first thing they did when going up the leagues was bin their academy... The first thing they did was turn to the analysts - who binned the academy in favour of an analytical approach. They started a development squad instead....

Re: Foods that you didn’t realise you liked
Overnight oats. Wife ate it for years and I poo-pooed it until I eventually gave it a go. Now I’m a convert and have it every day, it’s probably my healthiest meal to be honest. Just porridge oats, a handful of wonky frozen berries, some frozen banana slices, some chopped nuts and seeds. Cover it a...

Re: Would we be better off in L2?
Why would we be better off in L2? A smaller squad, worse football, lower crowds - and we'd still be losing £1.5m a year minimum.
There's also no guarantee we'd be any good. Last year's 3 relegated sides are 1st; 15th and 22nd right now.....

Re: RICKY WELLENS
Why ? This debacle is down to the clubs board for not backing him properly in the transfer market during the Summer . Going cheap with players like Perkins was never going to cut it . Is it Nigels faul he is running out of Money? It’s my belief that it’s Nigel’s fault for not doing his homework wit...

Re: Ratings (v Wycombe)
It’s crazy to me we have Agyei, O’Neill and Graham available on the front free and are doing nothing. At any point last season they seemed like incredible players. What has happened indeed I think it stems from our inept midfield . We’re now realising how much we relied upon El-Miz . We should have...

Absolute tripe. I am a landlord. A good one. It’s is not a profitable. I pay income tax on the income and I pay for the upkeep of the property. I could make more on interest on the money in a bank. It’s an idiotic belief from an idiotic Labour idealist. George, of course its profitable otherwise yo...

Re: Ratings (v Rotherham)
James 5 - a typical “I can’t be bothered with this” TJ performance. Long balls to nobody, that weird cross that went straight out for a gk when he could have had a shot, picked up a booking. At one point he took a throw in and chucked it straight into Pratley’s stomach. Happe 7 - bit ropey in the f...
