Re: Theo’s Goal on Saturday
Wasn’t sure whether to celebrate or not……..the ball seemed to go into the goal but bounced out so quickly that I initially thought how has he managed to put that wide 😂😂 Have we changed the position of the goal nets and stanchions ?? Could cause problems in the future……… We don't have stanchions an...

Re: Can someone at the club ..
This thread makes my brain hurt. Are some people on here really complaining that we're not cheating? Because that's what it is if a team is pretending to not be able to fulfill a fixture when they actualy can under the regulations. (Not I think that it would be as easy to do as some folk are making ...

Re: EFL Trophy tomorrow- boycott?
But if a club must be involved help it make a few quid ( a very few i know) or break even at the least for a night, rather than lose money playing in front of a couple of hundred people . Nice try at guilt-tripping anyone who's thinking of boycotting. Just one small problem with your logic :Orient ...

Even if you weren't looking for it, it's doubtful you came across it completely by accident; more likely you came across it because youtube's algorithms spotted a pattern in your viewing & served up more of the same to you. I came across this because a friend of mine sent me the link: https://xk...

Re: An Evening With !!!
Yes, but I don’t think this is the same. The meet the manager nights were about people from the club coming to talk to the fans and coming to talk to them in a fan-run space. This is taking it in-house and monetising it. If the same event was put on in the community, the club wouldn’t dream of char...

Re: Guesses for new manager
Swerving a bit more back on track than the last few posts - I can't help thinking that the folk suggesting Slade are (perhaps subconsciously) thinking about themselves rather than the players & coaches. Yes, for a lot of fans he's familiar, safe, a comfort blanket. But he left in 2014. Since the...

Re: Josh Koroma
There could be a mini boost in applications when the fixtures are released - my friend is waiting to see how the home & away dates fit with her shift patterns before she decides & I doubt she's the only one. Plus there'll be the procrastinators who always leave it till the day before their s...

Re: Josh Koroma
I'll be honest, it was lazy researching - I just used the advanced filter on twitter to find posts from the club's account between June & Sept 2018 that mentioned the phrase "season tickets" Doing the same thing for 2017, we'd gone past the 3500 mark by 2nd Aug (which was a 16 year rec...

Re: Josh Koroma
How many clubs who get promoted get a drop of 500 on last year when they should get a rise in season ticket sales ? I hate to burst your doom&gloom-bubble, but we've actually sold far more season tickets than at this stage last year. By the 24th June 2018 we were only at just over 2400: https:/...

Re: Speeding Ticket
UK police don't legally have to provide you with their evidence unless you challenge the speeding ticket. So most don't. if you challenge it, you're entitled to see the evidence against you ie the photo. But challenging a speeding ticket is basically pleading not guilty & opting to go to court w...

Re: Unused Accounts
Registered my user name from the old board thinking I might start posting more again.
Quickly discovered this board was still dominated by those who just can't let their personal feuds go & so didn't.
I doubt I'm alone in this.
