Re: Peterbro v Oxford
I thought Oxford were the best team we played at home this season but they were a bit fortunate to win last night. The thing that got me was the amount of grappling and holding at corners that was going on, it was more like WWF wrestling. I thought this was being punished by Referees this season ??...

Re: Congratulations to
All I know about Braintree is from our visit there when it seemed pretty tinpot. Didn't they only bring about 20 fans for the reverse fixture, even though it was quite a big local game for them? It was probably about a 100 but a lot of those in fancy dress they had a good time and it literally was ...

Re: Congratulations to
Not a national name but we’re talking generational family wealth. The Sears number being bandied about on the terraces is staggering (to such an extent, I didn’t believe it). But being so in the know, I look forward to you confirming what it is. Send me your PM with the numbers and I will ask one o...

Re: Congratulations to
Going to take a massive effort to keep the management team because they will have the smallest budget in the league next season and will be in demand at bigger clubs. also Braintree can’t afford to put players on meaningful contracts so keeping the squad together will be very difficult. If the mana...

Re: Josh Koroma
That sets the bar for any offers that might come in for the likes of Galbraith, O'Neill, Agyei etc. should any of them get attention from other clubs next season Peterborough have a policy on signing players on three year contracts, getting two years service, and then placing them on the transfer l...

Re: Josh Koroma
Peterborough wanted £6.5 million - He may well be worth that one day if he continues to develop but as good as he is I think they should have taken the £4million from Watford with both hands tbh. We would have got 20% sell on once the £300k we sold him for had been deducted so a nice little £740k a...

37 wickets in 2 days - wasn't that long ago Somerset were preparing spinner's wickets. Our second innings was rather poor. Yes it was a bowlers' wicket but some of our batters were out to poor shots eg Elgar - 10 runs for the whole match. Top until next weekend, be great if Surrey lose. I think Som...

Re: Idris Saying Goodbye ?
Would love to think it's just au revoir and not goodbye...... Hilarious that Lingy is just sending out text messages to prospective signings, not even calling them up. It’s not. There are EFL/FA restrictions about approaching other clubs players. He sent him an “how are you doing” type matey ...

Think it’s unlikely he will sign for us although I would love him too, one thing finding the money for a fee but wages may be an issue. But never say never.

We might be able to convince them to do an Ollie O'Neil type deal Smaller fee and a they get a higher % of any sell on. I'm sure we are trying.

Monkey boy, where do you get your information from mate 🤔🤣 TBF, MB has been posting some better stuff lately. But he posts about Wellens every few weeks "won't be here after the season ends" "wouldn't be surprised if etc etc". Hopefully he will leave it alone now and be a bit mo...

Re: FAO Matt Harold
HA - Only a complete tosser could take Matt Harrolds line about the manager situation and try and turn into something it's not.
This what he meant by sorting out the managers situation but I guess you knew that and went into WUM mode....better luck next time.

Going to make a few people on the RW (to Barnsley) thread look even sillier than we knew they were already. This has been in the pipeline for Three months!

Re: Released Players
Surprised Salford have released Matt Smith, scored 25 goals this season. A bit of a lump similar to Harry, who might not fit the RW run around and press style. That said RW sung his praises when we played them last season. I really like him as a player but as you say not really RW's type of forward.
