We might be able to convince them to do an Ollie O'Neil type deal Smaller fee and a they get a higher % of any sell on. I'm sure we are trying.

Monkey boy, where do you get your information from mate 🤔🤣 TBF, MB has been posting some better stuff lately. But he posts about Wellens every few weeks "won't be here after the season ends" "wouldn't be surprised if etc etc". Hopefully he will leave it alone now and be a bit mo...

Re: FAO Matt Harold

HA - Only a complete tosser could take Matt Harrolds line about the manager situation and try and turn into something it's not.

This what he meant by sorting out the managers situation but I guess you knew that and went into WUM mode....better luck next time.

Going to make a few people on the RW (to Barnsley) thread look even sillier than we knew they were already. This has been in the pipeline for Three months!

Re: Released Players

Surprised Salford have released Matt Smith, scored 25 goals this season. A bit of a lump similar to Harry, who might not fit the RW run around and press style. That said RW sung his praises when we played them last season. I really like him as a player but as you say not really RW's type of forward.

Re: Released Players

The released and retained list will be out this week, usually there are individual meetings with players and those out of contract will either have already had an offer of a new one, offered one or told they are not being retained. Players in contract are likely to be given BMI and weight targets fo...

Re: Barnsley sack manager

Scuba with respect that's not the story. RW was interviewed and on our short list when Jackett was appointed. But being an ex Donny player he was tempted back there (he's alluded to this since saying he let his heart rule his head) Doncaster were all over the place financially and RW was on a loser ...

The directors thank the fans every season. They were clapping us. Seems as if some on here are trying to stir things up again Usual posters. Some people also have a fixation with other peoples wealth "our millionaire directors" etc. It's bit sad really because If they were not wealthy eno...

This is what makes the close season so boring. Uninformed numpties putting 1+1 together and getting 3.

Isn't this the bloke who said we were signing Dane Scarlett on loan last season.

Re: Anyone think Richie might be off?

If Richie left for a big Championship club then that's fair enough but if he left simply because we couldn't match his ambitions that would be hard to swallow . He is very ambitious and he will not settle for another season like we have had. The fans at the beginning of th season would have be en v...

Re: Reinventing domestic football

A little "what if" exercise... imagine the FA Cup replay thing blew up and in the end the Premier League flounced off into a European Super League sunset and the EFL broke away to do their own thing. If you could reinvent the domestic game to get away from the worst of greed and excess at...

Re: Steve Evans leaves Stevenage

I feel for the Rotherham fans, after watching essentially a league one team in the Championship and getting battered every week, now they have old Fat Boy's wonderful brand of 'football' to look forward to. Think he realised the race was run at Stevenage, it's no surprise that their form fell right...

If the club want to keep RW they need to sign the players he wants that are so obviously needed and not be forced to accept players he does not want or he will be off. All this talk of moving on Pigott and freeing up his wages, even if we could find him another club (or not) we would have to pay off his contract either in part or in full.
