Re: What would happen if we got promotion?

Elon Musk's apparent interest in Liverpool decreases following a visit to the city. He suddenly becomes aware of our success, the nearest club to the city of London, the financial hub of the UK. Using left over 'pocket money ' buys the club. Could you imagine anything as bad as that, probably be wor...

Re: Considering adopting Leyton Orient as my team

Was it Hull City we played, quite a few years back, when last game of the season needed a point to
avoid relegation ? At home went 1-0 up, and the ever dependable John Jackson dropped the ball in the net.
Seem to remember we had quite a few last season games like that .

Re: Worst ever debut?

I can remember Dolan when we played Bristol Rovers at home, first game of the season. Lost 4-1, don't think he featured again.
Did he get sent to Canvey Island ?

Thinking about Roger Stanislaus, sacked by Hearn for 'allegedly' taking performance enhancing drugs.
From what I remember of Stanislaus, the drugs didn't seem to work.

Remember him playing for us at Loftus Road,0-0 If I remember correctly.
The reception he received from the home fans, unfortunately only the one season
for us.
I don't know if him and Bloomfield fell out, but was sorry to see him go.

After 55 years following the O's, I'm just grateful that we still got a club, thinking of Bury, Oldham etc.
Thankfully we have owners who are still willing to bail out the club.

Re: The Trains debate & Economic Crisis ch4 news

I work on a platform at busy main-line station. I earn about £30,000 a year. Which includes most Bank Holidays
and rostered Sundays. Resigned to losing my job this/next year as well as many of my colleagues in Ticket Offices.
The issue is not always about money.
