Doing what they wanted.
It is none of our business , Nigel was there and Kent may have been in USA it’s quite a long journey when he comes to see a game.
For God’s sake get off their backs and appreciate what they have done.

Re: Latest date Mansfield could be moved for international
EFL and FA need to think very hard about the impact these internationals have on clubs such as ours. I plan my holidays around the published fixture list. This season the last home Saturday game I attended was late August, the next will be mid December, if it doesn’t get postponed. This lack of plan...

Re: Is a bloated infrastructure killing the playing budget?
I think this is only part of the problem. The real problem lies with the FA and the formation of the Premier League. This has led to ridiculous salaries for players, managers etc that are only sustainable because of commercial rights and huge injections from abroad. Football will eventually reach a ...

Re: I wish RW lived in the real world...
RW interview was again shocking. Apparently when 2 nil up if the fans had cheered more and backed the team it would have been all great. Is this chancer in the real world? Little petty digs on the Os website and bbc highlights about some fans booing. It was crap RW, you set the team up, pick it and...

So sad.
What do you do for a living?
As a supposed fan your comments are pathetic.
Would you like endless criticism of your work?

Mr ling has a very lot to answer for So has Mr Travis but he always gets off Scott free time the pressure was put on him Scott free? Nigel has poured millions into this club and continues to keep us afloat whilst looking for new investment. I think you need to take a reality check. Nigel has achiev...

Re: Huddersfield Town off.
Not sure if I will bother with a Season Ticket next season Between Televised games and International Breaks I’ll just buy a ticket on the day if we have the odd Saturday game Fair play to the club though for reducing prices as they realise it’s the only way to hopefully get a few fans along. Very s...

Re: Exiles Thread.
Sorry I disagree. There was some good organised football today from the O’s and we seriously rattled Reading. Hopefully today will prove to be the match that makes us believe again, RW tactics worked and I was proud to be an O’s fan even if a private hire driver ripped me off £20 to station?

I don’t think the ref deserved a 5 some bookings seemed bizarre. Hemmings made a couple brilliant saves, must give him a chance and RW obviously sees something in him. In RW we trust

Re: 15:00 Saturday Kickoff @ Brisbane Road
Just 14 Saturday 3.00pm home games currently remaining in the current 24/25 season. Living 2 hours away by train (if running) or 2 1/2 -3 hours by car, early or late ko’s are not very convenient for people living outside of the M25 particularly if to the South or West. Yes I might be able re sell my...

Be a much fairer “draw” if the lowest positioned club in the EFL choose their opponents and home or away, then next club up and so on.

So a Saturday game gets moved to mid week. This must cost the home side a severe financial loss as the attendance will be much lower. Does the EFL compensate the home side?

Re: Ask Nigel a question
We've played 3 of the biggest clubs at this level and been edged out of each game by keeper errors. That suggests a problem of fine margins and that we may have fluffed recruitment in that position - which is always a risk in football. Think you can fairly criticize the recruitment of certain playe...

Re: Ticket Sales for Bolton on Saturday
When going to Saturday away games you accept that this often means a very early start and late return. For home games, depending on queues at Leyton underground I can usually get home by 19.30pm. A 17.30 ko dictates a home arrival of after 22.00 . Too late to eat with family so cost of attending hom...

Re: Have I got the wrong end of the stick?
Received a letter (club Newsline) today and to me it reads like the club is trying to muscle in on the O’s supporters bar under the West Stand by making them sell the Shepherd and Neame beer? I thought the supporters club was independent? Have I got this all wrong? Did anyone else receive this? You...

Sounds good to me. We have done some very good season loan deals recently, did you worry about El Miz only being on loan!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 5:04 pm Another loan . I thought we wanted a keeper on a permanent basis. In the pecking order I assume he’s behind Sol Brynn

Re: TODAYS FRIENDLY
Not that it matters but I was hoping by now we would have some more new signings for this game . As it stands we only have Howes for goalie and a threadbare midfield How many more times, this club is cheap. They don’t have to pay hotel and travelling fees. So much for bringing in players early, mak...
