Agreed and I’ve found myself for some unknown reason becoming increasingly bothered by these morons. Alias’s are nothing new and are part and parcel of this place but they seem to be increasingly humourless. Try looking closer to home to find a moron. Power corrupts but you are too pig-headed to kn...

Don’t engage. There are a whole raft of these unknown characters - Mario, Thor, tuffers - ‘people’ who nobody else actually knows, and who just come on here to stir things up. Now, they could be genuine people, Orient fans are by nature outcasts and a bit odd, but it’s more likely they’re all just ...

According to wiki, Anna Karen is still with us and living in Ilford. Anyone spotted her, and tried the old joke of congratulating her on being Jean Luc Godard’s nouvelle vague muse and lovely? Reg Varney popped up as an answer to a recent zoom quiz I did, being the first Bloke in the world to use a...

Ooh. I wonder who ClockworkO is? Not sure when this mask ban is meant to be coming in but I can tell you the security at Morrisons in Chingford last night were turning Nelsonian eyes to quite a few maskless shoppers. I am a long-time lurker who decided, maybe against my better judgement, to register.

Re: Covid: Morrisons and Sainsbury's ban maskless shoppers

I'd like to see them limiting capacity again and making people queue outside distanced out. Too much of a free for all with people clambering over you right now Our Sainsbury slashed the capacity limit back to April levels last Monday so it was much quieter inside but we had to queue for about 250 ...

If they had any sense they could have backed up yesterday's tough message by saying that this is exactly the kind of thing people should be thinking about no longer doing and while within the rules he's going to stay much closer to home in future. Can't pretend to be that annoyed that they've just ...

Re: A Perfect Planet

Going back a long, long time, there was a diminutive little chap who used to go to the Sunday School I attended. He was mixed race which was very unusual in Tufnell Park at the time and his name was Remi, just as unusual. When I stopped going at 7 or 8 I no longer saw him. But when I went to Hollow...
