Gents, one of my friends can’t make it so asked me to check if anyone on here would want to buy his ticket?

Re: Preceding Manager
Can someone translate this into English. I'm not sure a club can precede a manager. They are different things Ignoring interims, Russell Slade was the preceding manager to the current, at which football league club ? Ignoring interims, Kenny Jackett was the preceding manager to the current, at whic...

What we should be able to agree on is that its a better reserve team than we have had for many years. Should give us cause for optimism through the season ahead.

Re: League 2 players in numbers each club
We’re usually one of the slowest clubs to sign new players and usually one of the clubs to underachieve . Whereas Bradford City sign shed loads and are still crap! Better to sign quality rather than quantity and I still expect us to add to the squad before Grimsby in a few weeks. We appear to be lo...

I think so too. Moncur chose us over them I doubt they’ll let it happen again and there’s not the element of “moving home & stability” with him either.
With that said - I’d have taken Moncur over him any day so we got the sweet deal.

Ill offer you that bet if you are interested - I give you 20/1 if we finish 13th or below, and you give me 10/1 if we finish 12th or above?
£100?

Re: Another New Signing Coming...
If we're going to play 2 CBs then no, we don't need a 5th CB. If we're going to play 1 striker out of Drinnan and Smith then no, we don't need a 3rd striker. We do however absolutely need a CDM - we cannot start the season with Brown or Coleman in the starting eleven and one of them has to as thing...

Re: Another New Signing Coming...
I reckon so, at least until we are back from Portugal. Even so I reckon it will only be one CB. I'd go with another Centre back , central midfielder and striker . If it's felt Sonny Fish is ready for first team action then forget signing another striker , we'll give Sonny his chance . If we're goin...

Re: Another New Signing Coming...
The tweet said "number two through the door" so the hidden text in the image "number 3" must refer to a shirt number/ left back. It says “number three” though rather than “number 3”? Maybe just being pedantic here but I think it’s just number 3 as in the third signing after Theo...

It was hinted at on our Twitter. Most likely Georgiou but could be Dodoo or (more unlikely) someone who’s completely slipped under the radar.

Re: George Moncur (Confirmed)
Very good signing. He only played 7 (+7) for Hull last season, but ended up with the highest Pass success percentage - 92 - at the club. Surely that's easier to achieve if the sample size is smaller? Same way David Nugent has 100% scoring record for England after stealing a goal on his only cap Mad...

Re: George Moncur (Confirmed)
'Well done Ling?' That's his job, what else is he supposed to do. Do you think Moncur came to this club because of Martin Ling ? So what you are essentially saying is it is ok moan and ruin him when he does something bad, but not ok to praise him when he does something good. Do I understand that co...

Re: George Moncur (Confirmed)
He looks to be the type of midfielder that we have missed for a few years. Would not have come cheap. Well done Ling to get a player that has played at a higher level for the last few years. Returning home ( his family live in Loughton) 'Well done Ling?' That's his job, what else is he supposed to ...

Re: George Moncur (Probably Not)
3 year deal. Impressive that Martin Ling has discovered he can offer above 2 years. The money we would have got for Bonne, Koroma abd Hector if he realised that before would have been a lot more I find it impressive that you somehow still found a way to have a moan at this piece of excellent news :D
