Re: Jamie Donley heading our way
So what’s taking so long with an official announcement ? Number of potential reasons... 1. Not happening 2. Never was happening 3. Waiting on departures from our side 4. Trying to sort out documentation / registration before announcing 5. Issue with medical 6. Other club swooped in and gazumped us ...

Re: Jamie Donley heading our way
In this crazy world of who a footballer follows or unfollows on social media, determines their transfer moves - Jamie Donley now follows Noah Phillips, Zech Obiero, Sonny Perkins, and the club official account on Instagram - apparently (according to young'uns) this means its a done deal - who knows?

Re: Jamie Donley heading our way
Definitely think Donley would be a useful addition - im more interested to see we are interested in their keeper, if true that says a lot about our current options
also a certain ex-Orient keeper (Dean Brill) is their academy goalkeeping coach

Re: Jamie Donley heading our way
Would be a pretty raw bunch of options after Agyei and Kelman, but we need the numbers. That'd leave another midfielder for the attacking midfielder role and potentially another fullback? Can't figure out how we're going to bring our wingers back into the team in the new set up, our squad doesn't f...

Re: First Half vs Hornchurch
Trialists are Louie Watson and Matt Penney according to Twitter. No idea about third. Few people saying the third was Djavan Anderson from Oxford - came through Ajax's academy and played for Lazio prior to joining them, it looks like it could have been him but as he was mostly over the other side o...

7 goals in 75 games Lets not forget Jay Simpson had scored 1 goal in 21 appearances for Buriram United in Thailand before joining Orient the first time, and then went on to score 6 goals in 57 appearances since (including a second stint at Orient) He scored 2 goals in 20 appearances for Nea Salamin...

Re: Who will wear no. 9 shirt-poll
I think Harry Smith will wear 9, as all the players seemed to be wearing their numbers, with the exception of the young players who were all given random shirts, young Daniel Ekruma (apologies if thats spelt wrong) wore 9 on Tuesday night Sotiriou wore 20 (same as last season) Pratley wore 18, Wood ...

Seeing as the name directly above that in the same coloured text is Alex Lawless, and Brian Saah above him, you'll find that is the academy staff, and as such its probably not 'Doyle' but 'Boyle'

Re: Player signing rumours
Paul Smyth and Ryan Allsop are the two main rumours floating about. Seen a few suspect lazy links to Oli Hawkins, due to the Jackett connection I guess, been a few posts about people getting excited over the possible return of Moses Odubajo after he liked the post about Beckles signing and then when...

Re: At the request of FTC Junior / Moses Odubajo
think they are trying to say that Moses is using the eyes emoji to suggest 'watch this space' but he could be saying he's keeping an eye on things, or 'we'll see what happens' At least I think thats what they are reading into it, i'm not 'down with the kids' Either he's maybe signing, or he's just b...

Re: DJ reportedly going to Mansfield
someone told me DJ wanted to stay but was told he wasnt guaranteed game time under Kenny Jackett, now this of course could be someone telling me an absolute steaming pile of camel sh*t, but IF true then this suggests to me Kenny has someone lined up that he thinks will be better, or (less likely) he...

a thought experiment that raises the question of whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object. So in relation to LOFC..do you mean because we've changed the owners, the manager, the players, the board, etc...we're still the same LOFC, in other w...

The Twitter account that posted this specialises in talking utter bollocks - they posted about 2 months ago saying we had SIGNED (not just interested in or made an offer) Winger Elliott Freer from Forest Green Rovers on a 2 year deal with an option for a third, which obviously, we hadn't I'd take no...

It seems the statement of capital on 19 June 2020 was processed twice (20th July and 11th August), hence showing the same figure of GBP 7,640,712, but the capital was showing as GBP 10,529,913 on 10th July

Charlton fans are now up in arms about Sheffield Wednesday who have a points deduction next season for financial irregularities this season. The EFL were right to relegate Macc who have been serial offenders when it comes to non payments, but the way it's been handled is muddled and confusing and s...
