Re: Wellens charged by the FA

The current clampdown by the FA is as a result of increasing bad behaviour creeping into the game. They are trying to stop this creep and this season have been applying the rules more rigorously. Many types of behaviour like surrounding referees and technical area offences have declined already. Di...

Re: Paul McCallum

Eastleigh is close to me so have popped there to see him play. Beats me how he scores so many because when I’ve seen him he is slow, lazy and cumbersome and a million miles from League 1 quality in my opinion. Maybe I’ve just seen him on his bad days but I would not be rushing to bring him in. Great...

Re: Another new stadium

I thought the taxpayer funded the ground for the Manchester Commonwealth games before City modified it for football. That was the opportunity to build a stadium for the North. Not subsidise one of the world’s richest clubs. Pure greed.

Re: Wellens charged by the FA

Personally I wouldn't change a single thing about Richie . I love the mans passion which is part of what makes him such a good manager. I would much rather have a manager like Richie than somebody like Kenny Jackett who just stood there like a statue . Anyway it was the West side linesman's fault f...

Re: Wellens charged by the FA

Maybe but Bolton were blatantly cheating and the West side linesman wasn't doing his job properly . Didn’t anyone notice Galbraith constantly doing exactly the same? Whether the officials were right or wrong, they were consistent. RW was wrong, it’s in the laws, the red was correct. But the Bolton ...

Re: Cooper returns to Swansea

Swansea's New Manager calling players back so he can see what they are. Hardly a Suprise His loan expired, he wasn't recalled. Any team can have only5 loan players . With Cooper we had 5 so someone had to be returned to enable us to loan a forward which we need. Therefore Cooper was the obvious cho...

Re: Orients player budget

Luton currently play at a 10000 odd capacity stadium In the Premier League. That's why they want a new ground . Their current one isn't big enough . But they reached the Premier League while having under 11000 capacity. Even with such a modest attendance that extra over us probably delivers £1m+ pe...

Negative. Boring. Lacking ideas. Words that sum us up tonight. Add lack of heart, lack of passion, lack of energy. They played like they didn’t give a toss. The spirit of last season a distant memory. We all know about switching play to try and create gaps. But that ain’t us. We switch play because ...

Yup. Better to spend on players rather than adding to the coaching staff. Mind you after tonight, maybe we need a few more coaches. A motivational coach for starters. The players looked like they don’t give a toss.
