Re: Salford and Solihull

Bearing in mind that in Tim Flowers' post-match interview he was congratulating us on winning the title, and talking about their preparations for the play-offs, I think we can conclude that they won't be "going for it" on Saturday Would also be surprised to see Solihull "go for it&qu...

I've learned I never want the football team I support to spend another season here ever again.

Re: Would you take 22nd in League Two next season?

Analysis of clubs previously promoted from the fifth to the fourth suggests we should be very optimistic about next season - play-offs are a very realistic expectation, and if we persuade Bonne, Koroma et al to stay it will presumably be on the basis that we have that ambition

Re: Next Season: New Signings

Harrold has been a good impact sub at the business end of the season (i.e. a couple of hours' worth of football across the whole season). But a year older at a division higher? Nah, I don't think so - particularly if 9as above) we get McCallum or someone like him.

Wembley was 5 years ago. I'll never forget the date.

Big game for sure.

Blimey...where did the time go? Yes, was referring to that game.
thought you might have meant Swindon (A), which one could make a case for too

Re: Ratings vs Solihull

He is carrying a groin injury, it's tough and he's putting it on the line for the team, marvellous effort. I wouldn't be surprised if he started Sat and came off again, then again Justin may say you've got 3 weeks to rest do some rehab and get ready for Wembley cos at his age he probably won't play...

I just think that he is a Knob No other reason in the interview. I posted Flowers one & thought id do his. Flowers has achieved this season with very little & still believes in his players Akexandra looks like a beaten man trying to gee himself up , but knows ultimately he f*cked up. You ca...

Re: Justin Edinburgh's first match

My worst ever experience in many years following Orient. The atmosphere in the away end was truly toxic that day. And losing to a tinpot outfit like that was far worse than the previous week, when at least losing at Plainmoor, a proper ground for a proper club in a proper town, felt like something ...

Re: Would you take the draw?

No. Playing for the draw would be disastrous. Lets win it and put this title to bed. Of course. The draw seems the least likely result, given that Solihull have to go for it, and we're pretty tasty on the break (and at set pieces). Also, this assumption that we will comfortably dispatch Braintree i...

Not a terrible player, did particularly well towards the end, but how on earth is he now playing Championship football? Same agent as Legzdins? Don't think any player should be judged by his time with us during that car crash year. Played a big part in Wigan getting into the Championship and would ...

why don't you go in the home end - either by asking a pal in the area to "borrow" his address to buy from, or just turn up on the day.

Orient win again, and are within a hair's breadth of winning the league, yet some of the bedwetting over a late goal for Salford is a sight to behold.

Re: Worst National League away ground this season.

You can drink wine at Ebbsfleet. Actually, from last season's experience, I'd say Solihull. Wasn't a big fan of Salford actually, you can tell it's just viewed as a temporary structure until they re-develop again for their (supposedly) inevitable march up the leagues And Dagenham is more than a bit ...

would be classic Orient to win at Solihull, then lose at home to Braintree in front of a packed house.

Re: I believe we will need to win all 3

I don't think we will win all 3. The character in the squad is immense, but we haven't beaten a team by more than 1 goal for ages and the results against Bromley and Halifax were particularly poor. I think we will do Harrogate and Braintree at home, but moors away is going to be tough. Not being ne...

Re: I believe we will need to win all 3

I don’t think I could do this every season I could. Better than dropping down divisions or the threat of doing so. Relegation battles are more stressful. I remember last game in 1983 against Sheffield United when it looked like Os would drop into division 4 after just dropping out of division 2 the...
