Re: Kit reveal today
I reckon you'll get used to it, and it will fly out of the stores. If we have a good season, it will be recognised as a classic.

Not quite sure why so many of our fans seem to have written the guy off, when the club clearly haven't.

Re: Sponsorship James Alabi
Slightly different. Of course we want Alabi out, we’ve made that clear, but the concern here is whether funding will be made available to replace him before he has gone. Fingers crossed. IDK - maybe it was Edinburgh who couldn't stand him, and Ling/Embleton actually think he might be worth another ...

Re: Official Pouring Rights Partner
Think it was Heineken before providing the industrial slops and all the mixers, etc. You can see why the FC only wants to flog keg beer and goes to a one-stop provider - but I agree it would be a nice community gesture to at least supplement it with a local supplier, but I guess the fear of cost/sp...

Re: Dean Brill
I thought Brill's conditioning improved significantly between 2017/18 and 2018/19. Maybe he likes a summer cycle, and comfort food in the wintertime.
Had a good chat with him at the StarMan… put alongside large numbers of our fans, he looked in great shape by comparison

Absolutely. He reversed the charge to access the Legends Lounge pretty quickly when the OTF told him to. Know it's silly of me to ask, but who or what is an OTF They run the place mate. Yeah - were busy being buttered up and lobbying for Bowers in the summer of 2017, thus further delaying the real ...

I think this is the moment that the resistance to the new regime finally ignites - the real ale Nazis who hang out in the Supporters Club will be profoundly outraged by this

Re: Marvin Ekpiteta assault
http://courtnewsuk.co.uk/leyton-defender-cleared-of-cinema-row-attack/ Great news. Perhaps all those above condemning the young man would like to apologise now? same outcome as the first trial. What a waste of time and money. One wonders if Marv hadn't been both black, and a footballer, whether thi...

Re: Marvin Ekpiteta assault
Important detail here: apparently he couldn't control his chattering during the film (it is alleged) but could control his anger until after the film was done, as he didn't want it to disturb other cinemagoers during the film. I'd say that was the mark of a considerate, mature professional.

It's a retrial - the first one was a hung jury. Offence was before he joined Orient. You're welcome. That would make the Mirrors account false then, given Infinity Wars wasn't released until April 2018. It's an interminable franchise. Perhaps they got it mixed up. Though it is possible my source co...

"interim" is key here - we needed someone, something in place at this delicate stage - with everyone still in shock about JE, we've got key recruitment and transfer business to negotiate, and preparations for next season. If we are serious about progression next season, we can't really lin...

Re: Bonne to Charlton
I see I'm in a minority in (a) wishing him well, and (b) thinking he'll do a very serviceable job in the Championship. Obviously I'm very disappointed that he's gone, but from his POV I can completely see why he would. I think most League 1 clubs would have been unable to prise him away (at least wh...

Indeed. And, I don`t really understand why as he has represented Zimbabwe at international level before. only in friendlies though I have mixed feelings about this. Really wanted to see him represent us at a major international tournament, but on the other hand, this makes it more likely he'll stay...

Re: What heights could we reach
The football league only became a four-tiered affair in 1958. Using our historical record from prior to this date in support of any argument about our "natural level" should recognise that there were fewer divisions to be in. With the exception of two spells (mid-50s to mid 60s, and the 19...

Re: Away games looking forward to.
Macclesfield and FGR are the only new grounds for me, and thus non-negotiable. As for the rest, the fixture list will tell all. Seaside trips (Grimsby, Morecambe, Plymouth) all likely if at a weekend, and deffo if in Aug/Sep/April/May. Trips to places with a real "sense of place" (i.e. goo...

Bizarre. If he tears up the National League again next season, and Harrold is as effective as a wet fart, then I shall be turning up to matches with an "Edinburgh Out" banner

Tranmere, as I prefer the idea of a visit to Newport next season, as I know more people out that way (though Tranmere wouldn't be bad either)
Charlton, as I fancy the idea of a weekend in Sunderland, and being just one division away from them brings that closer in range
Villa, because of Deano

Does anybody know what labour's view on Europe actually is? I don't and for that reason I can't see how I could vote for them. The tories too.
