Re: Foods that you didn’t realise you liked
I’ve recently really gotten into medjool dates. Had never tried them before. I avoided them for most of my life as I falsely assumed they would taste like big raisins. They don’t. They taste like butterscotch. What other foods or meals have people developed a taste for later in life? Yes they are g...

Re: Galbraith Contract Extension
How does the "in our favour" bit work? It was mentioned earlier in summer that players had been offered (all hints suggested at Galbraith and Agyei) but neither had signed? Fully expecting him to be sold in Jan if an offer comes in, Nigel has said we will be selling and frankly there's pr...

Leyton is well connected. 21 mins to Oxford Circus, maybe 12 mins to Liverpool ST. Plus the excellent links at Stratford

Re: Are these rearranged reduced priced fixtures devaluing season cards?
Haven’t done the calculations but surely every time a game is re-arranged and the price dropped to a tenner isn’t that reducing the money saved by season card holders? Every time the price of a match is dropped the average cost of games across the season drops too, whilst the average price per game...

Re: Soulless Stadium last night
Yeah, really surprised by the sour grapes upthread slating the stadium. It's not even a bad area either, you're literally 10 minutes from some lovely riverside drinking. The only thing I didn't really like is that it's West London and miles from anywhere truly civilised. The typically unimaginative...

Also 3 goals in 31 games last season. Sounds like the answer to all our problems is Ladapo! Most of those appearances were as sub so get your facts right,Kelman last season 2 goals for Wigan they soon got rid of him as are QPR I would take him over Kelman any day of the week plus Huddersfield have ...

Re: Ticket Exchange Rip Off
What a bunch of whiny ****s. In the olden days, if you couldn’t attend a game, you didn’t go. Your seat stayed empty. That was the end of it. Nowadays, if you can’t attend a game, you click a button on the computer, the club try and resell the ticket for the empty seat (because we’ve had the fortun...

There is so much that is strange in this situation. He talks about commuting from Bedford which is difficult ( that's my interpretation), yet he talks about moving to Essex after 1 day on LOAN at a new club. If it's a contributing factor to the out of favour stance now, then why has he not moved be...

Many years ago we had the EDL turning up to protest in Aylesbury (the white widow Samantha Lethwaite is from here). The whole town turned up to protect the town & acouple of streets near the mosque. We peacefully saw them off
