Quite incredible that thousands of people voted him into parliament.
Not incredible at all. This is modern England.

Re: Bung A Bob For A Big Ben Bong

This seems to be dieing on its arse. Come on Brexiteers, where's your bulldog spirit? You've defeated the Nazis and the Frogs! And now that we're free of Europe we'll be coining it in , so sure you can afford a few quid?

Re: How well should we be doing with a National League squad?

Why are so many of you expecting a first time manager to perform miracles? Much of the squad is NL standard. Klopp wouldn't have this club much higher in the table. Pep would because he’s better Yeah he did wonders with the no-hopers at Barcelona, Bayern Munich & Man City working on a shoestrin...

Re: Norman Stanley Fletcher

I read a few of the Porridge books which I think came out before the TV series. He was definitely an O's fan in the books and made several references to them.

Re: I have just watched the best movie ever

Wouldn't dream of watching Paddington 1 never mind 2, but it wouldn't have to be very good to be better than The Irishman which I gave up on after about 90 turgid minutes

Re: UK unemployment falls to lowest level since 1975

They have manipulated the criteria which classifies someone as" unemployed " so much, that it is surprising that there is anyone still regarded as unemployed at all

Went to Bergen once. It was predictably very expensive and not as nice as I thought it would be. Have been to many much nicer European cities.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-50508399 Looks like his political career is dead . A few smokes and a bottle of plonk? Not exactly Robert Mugabe is he? As for the other stuff, sounds like fairly run of the mill behaviour that most of our esteemed world leaders will also be up to their ...

Re: Major League Baseball

I cannot understand why they don't have VAR for pitches. In a clip I watched the last Yankee batter in the 11 innings was given out to a ball 4 inches off the plate, inevitably the Astros walked off in the bottom of the eleventh. Mikero I cannot understand a word you just said, but then again, all ...

Can't remember thinking that anything he did was remotely funny and he didn't come across as a particularly pleasant person. But a lot of people seem to like him. Just as well we're not all the same I suppose

Admittedly I am a glory hunter who started supporting in 69/70 championship winning season. Has been non-stop success since then so feel a bit like a Man U fan from Cornnwall or somewhere
