Northern Lights
Anyone catch these last night? Spent about an hour in the garden in mid-Essex last night marvelling at the sky. Pretty special

Re: Northern Lights
Our daughter enjoyed the light spectacular from her garden in Cambridgeshire.
Rang to tell us she was seeing them, nothing here just outside Edinburgh.
Who would gave guessed that?

Re: Northern Lights
Never will, its because the eye and the camera capture the light differently.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 7:31 am Didn’t look anything like the photos people were posting.
Many photos are taken using long exposure plus the camera renders it as programmed by its software.

Re: Northern Lights
Lucky enough to be in NZ at the moment and saw the Aurora Australis/Southern Lights tonight. Absolutely incredible, never experienced anything like it.

I thought it was about Blackpool Tower being cut off because they didn't pat the lecky bill. I'm out of touch
